Honduras has one of the highest crime rates in the world. Something the makers of Próspera want to shield residents from - apparently along with paying taxes and politicians calling the shots.
Próspera - located on the island of Roatan - is a private city. One that not only threatens land rights of locals, critics say, but democracy itself.
