The costume itself looks as if it represents an much more ancient traditional pro-Colombian time, maybe? So very interesting.

The tiny mariachi is an unusual, tiny singer, and they are chosen to open and close the video, which is perfect.

Great seeing the famous musical personalities, and they seem so happy to have been included.

Thank you for sharing this. I'm going to be listening to it repeatedly, it's beautiful.

The Huichol or Wixáritari are an indigenous people of Mexico living in the Sierra Madre Occidental range in the states of Nayarit, Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Durango. They are best known to the larger world as the Huichol, however, they refer to themselves as Wixáritari ("the people" ) in their native Huichol language.

The group is called Venado Azul - Blue Deer, a representation of the god Kauyumari
