Maduro begs sparce campaign attendees, "Don't abandon me!"

"Do not leave me alone," begs Maduro at each rally that he stars in the campaign
Elizabeth Fuentes

Caracas, April 24.- Without large crowds in front, with the ammunition laden with electoral promises already expired from so much repeating them year after year and an unpassionate response from the attendees, President Nicolás Maduro has two rallies in two cities with one same request: "Do not leave me alone," he has pleaded in Bolivar, "Do not leave me alone," he said again in Barinas, as if he knew now that the results in his favor will need a lot of makeup from the National Council Electoral, that same CNE that without batting an eye gave more than a million votes to the National Constituent Assembly last year.

Because it is enough to see the official photos of the Venezuelan News Agency - which do the impossible so that a compact crowd can be seen listening to Maduro's promises -, to realize the smell of failure that each call dismisses, even when Ultimas Noticias invents that "The street Ramírez de San Félix was filled to receive the president", when the graphic that accompanies such title what it shows is Nicolás Maduro and his wife alone on a huge platform and which is forbidden to get too close because it is surrounded by fences of metal on all four sides, a wall that prevents people from getting closer than two meters and to which it may be added that each gate is in turn heavily guarded by hundreds of officials disguised with flannels and red caps, whose job is to prevent any approach to the president.

In the album of memories of his tours you can not miss the four planes he takes with him using State assets and violating the Law in the noses of Tibisay Lucena, as well as the rosary of promises he throws right and left in two of the the most impoverished states in the country.

BTW... his "campaign" illegally gave vehicles (tractors) to the Chavista mayors of each locality, violating the law by using state resources in his campaign.
