Tourists flocked to Argentina get a glimpse of a rare gathering of southern right whales that showed up on the Patagonia Coastline.
Fox 35 cites conversation groups as saying nearly 800 whales visited the area between around October 2016 and October 2017, giving birth to about 300 calves.
This is due in most part to the conservation measures that have been put in place by the government of the province of Chubut, wildlife ranger Roberto Bubas said, according to Australias ABC.
Tourists were especially drawn to El Doradillo, one of the only places where its possible to watch whales from shore in the entire world.
