The Carnet de la Patria is a Chavismo tool used to monitor who votes, how they vote... and if they are going to get fed.

1. Want to vote? Report to the "red spot"... scan and leave your card.
2. Take a voting ticket (someone who voted Chavist prior to you), vote.
3. Put the ticket you picked up in the ballot box, bring back to the "red spot" your voting ticket.
4. Providing that you voted "correctly" you will get your card back.. and voucher for a bag of food.
5. No card? That's OK... walk over there past those guys with the red shirts. They have something they want to say to you...

Remember... its for the Fatherland! iViva Chavez! ¡Viva la Revolución!
