CFK in Bolivia to discuss gas imports

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner landed on Tuesday in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where she took part in a gala dinner and is scheduled to meet tomorrow with her Bolivian counterpart Evo Morales. She is expected to discuss the import of gas from the neighbouring country to Argentina.

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner urged people “not to get confused, because we all of us are in this together and we will staunchly defend not governments or people but the popular will of people who express themselves freely,” regarding the impeachment trial that ousted Paraguayan president Fernando Lugo in June, as she took part in a gala dinner during her visit to Bolivia.

The Head of State also added that regional governments “are waiting until democracy is restored Paraguay in free elections” in order to for the neighbouring country to become a full member of Mercosur bloc once again.
