What was Governor Scott Thinking at the Freedom Tower?

What was Governor Scott Thinking at the Freedom Tower?

[div class ="excerpt"]
Governor Rick Scott managed to go from hero to goat in a span of about two hours on Tuesday- and tick off alot of supporters in the process.

After Scott visited the Freedom Tower in Miami to sign a bill that prohibited the state and local governments in Florida from doing business with firms that tied to Cuba and Syria, the Governor’s Office issued a press release stating that the very restrictions that he just signed won’t take effect until the federal government gives them approval to do so.

The glaring question that results- why would Governor Scott sign such a measure in the first place knowing that its legality would be subject to review by the ultra-partisan U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder’s Department of Justice?

He's a total asshole (does not deserve to be called a "goat&quot and demonstrates his talents constantly. That's our Governor.

Scott gets the photo-op, and then after that the opportunity to say "See, The Obama administration is against you".

Watch, it won't be long until Romney says that if he were President, Scott would get the approval.

That will give them a project, something fun to do, and create a threat to Scott politically if they decide to really go after him.

Win-win.

His bill would never be realized since it's impossible legally for a state to set its own "foreign policy," no matter HOW many "exiles," or their offspring from Batista's regime infest Florida's government.

The photo someone added to your thread was ridiculous!

Is that guy with the giant hat the man who used to be Jorge Mas Canosa's right-hand man? Pepe?

Rolando Masferrer, who used to be a newspaper publisher, and operator of death squads in Havana for Batista used to wear a huge hat like that until someone car-bombed him in the U.S.

Thank you, Mika!

Good to "see" you.

Well, not so funny.

As for Florida's governor, Floridians really need to check out who is 'counting' all their votes and how.
