which I did not expect.
The companies already reduced the bus fares, so the protesters concerns are much broader, having to do with wages, health care, economic opportunity, etc. , and of course corruption.
Here is coverage from A Tarde, the paper from Salvador da Bahia in Northeastern Brazil. It tends to be conservative but it is the paper of record for Bahia.
