3. It's amazing to me that the GOP is against this

Is there anything "good" for the population that the Republicans don't hate? This should be something supported on both sides of the aisle - making it easy for the population to have their voices heard. We should be doing everything we can to give everyone the chance to vote.

The big thing fear republicans spout is voter fraud...but I feel like the current system actually makes it easier to commit fraud (self registration) than one where the government automatically enrolls everyone and updates the roster when they move/die.

4. I've said it repeatedly,

but what's also amazing is they're opposing voting rights while constantly throwing the "freedom" word around, and calling certain Democrats tyrants. How can you claim to fight for freedom and abide by the Constitution while making it more difficult for fellow Americans to exercise a basic Constitutional right? And there was a time when they used to not oppose everything that's good for the country, but that was long ago. Supporting infrastructure, environmental regulations, tougher gun laws, voting rights, etc. is a thing of the past in the GOP.
