Related: About this forumJust wanted to give a hug to this group.
It has not been that easy for Hillary supporters in GD so I wanted to say to my friends here to kep up the good fight.
Go Hillary!

(55,148 posts)Some of the stuff I have been reading you would think that Hillary alone crucified Jesus. I have tried to stay out of most of it but was drawn into some that was just blatant bullshit.
I for one look for the good in all our Democratic leaders, others try to tear them down to make their candidate look good and all they are doing in making themselves look. One in particular must lead a very sad & hateful and pitiful life with all the venom they spew.
Life's to short for that.

I know I am on a list now. Oh well!

(30,058 posts)In fact, it is having the opposite effect. I do not want to go to disliking EW because I like a lot of the things she is doing. Some of the statements sounds like Rushtards. Hillary has been Methodist, attended Methodist church in Arkansas and DC, to hear some of them tell it the only religious portion is when she said the bible has been a big influence in her life.

(544 posts)One of my parents neighbors was a College Prof to Hillary. She told my Mom that Hillary was one of the most brilliant students she ever had. In the years of watching her, I realized that SHE, not Bill should have been elected.

(4,019 posts)I've been away from DU for a while and it was disheartening to me when I popped into the GD. It made me remember the 2008 race and how difficult it was to be an HRC supporter at DU. I'm back

(8,547 posts)but I made phone calls for Obama and donated to him in 2008 (and 2012) when he won the nomination.
I also supported Gore in 2000 when many non-Republicans voted for Nader.
And way, way back, I was disheartened to hear CA people say they refused to vote for Brown over Reagan because they refused to vote for "the lesser of two evils."
IMO, that idea is just what the right wing likes and it is one reason they have been so successful.
