8. It fills me with great pride and great sadness at the same time.

I can't help it. I'm sure she (they) wouldn't want me to feel sad for her, but it's difficult not to be emotional.

9. It's heartbreakingly unreal. One of their own in Congress got shot down, along

with all the tragic victims, from senseless gun violence.. and the majority couldn't even pass a law to show they cared about anything except fattening the coffers of the NRA ,and their own campaign funds.

"Despicable" doesn't even do it.

But, here they are still plowing away.. all these millions of baby steps. It must feel so gratifying to be out working for change and have a team of support around them like Hillary and President Obama.

Good god!! Never in my life have I seen such abominable behavior directed to another Democrat FROM (supposedly) other Democrats. Have people in our party really sunk that low? (It's difficult to believe, so I find some comfort with the possibility that they weren't really Democrats to begin with.)
