Digging into the numbers, more interesting facts!
Who'd a thunk?
Donovan Slack, USA TODAY
Clinton has 59% support among Democrats, compared with Sanders 26 %, according to a Monmouth University Poll released Wednesday. Former Maryland governor Martin O'Malley is well back at 4%.
Whats more, a majority of Sanders supporters 59 % said they would be OK if Clinton bested their candidate and won the Democratic nomination.
Clintons numbers have changed little since October, when Monmouth found her ahead of Sanders 57% to 24%.

(9,003 posts)They may be hyper-Bernie right now, but I have a feeling that if Donald Trump were the GOP candidate, they would come around and vote for the Dem.
Actually, same goes if Cruz or Carson or Rubio is the GOP candidate. Or Bush. Or Christie. etc. etc.

(9,494 posts)once Sanders bows out and endorses Hillary, they will either disappear or go over to the other side where they really belong.
The loudest and most hateful aren't many, just loud and annoying (who does that remind you of?)

(16,104 posts)this was never a newsworthy issue.
We have always agreed if Senator Sanders (I-VT) was the Democratic nominee, we would support him.
We just believe Hillary would be the best Democratic nominee!
And best next President!

(32,623 posts)something so ordinary and civil takes me aback. I see a thread with 200+ recs that says we Hillary supporters wanted a conservative govt in Canada. How can there be so much support from the bs folks for an ugly rumor like that?
In fact, the day after that election I found myself explaining to some BS supporters that even though the party that won wasn't really what we'd call the most liberal party, it was a step in the right direction. It's so ugly and everyone is so angry.
Sorry to go so off topic.
