Another party, another "explanation"

By a retired white male as to why Clinton lost.

I had to listen to the whole spiel, as though I hadn't heard it all before. Of course she rigged the primary-or DWS did it, one of the two. If Sanders had been nominated he'd be president in a landslide, winning 49 of 50 states. Everything was stolen from him, she was the worst candidate, least qualified, etc.

I said that I know someone who worked with the RNC for years until he came out. I tried to explain that my friend said they preferred Sanders as a candidate, felt he was easier to beat, etc. He said I had no idea what I spoke of and needed research. In the end, I was dismissed.

I can't believe we're still fighting this!

If we go by demographic support: she's always done okay with other groups except white males. Something I always keep in mind because it explains a lot.

Was in direct retaliation of her loss. It's supposedly a movement meant to punish men who spoke out against her.

He also claimed to be very progressive but said that he didn't vote for her in the GE, even though he claimed he predicted Trump' s win. He claims that win was a punishment for picking her instead of Sanders. He also said she didn't need to write a book about it

And walked away. There was nothing I could say or do. He said he had all these years in publishing and swore he knew what he was talking about. I tried to explain how women politicians tend to run campaigns differently than men. I tried to explain how my friend worked as a campaign manager for fifteen years for the GOP and that she was who scared them, not Sanders. I tried to explain how many long time Dems were angry because they saw her as someone who paid her dues, compared to Sanders.

I had to give up.

is for them to immediately run Sanders.

I mentioned Harris, Booker, Gillibrand, Kennedy, even Warren-nope. He said only Sanders.
He eventually found a few younger guys to discuss how Hillary rigged the election. They all stood in front of the rum punch and wine glasses and blocked the liquor from the rest of the guests.

I feel like Sanders will split the vote in 2020, even if he doesn't run. All these people want is Sanders.

At this date, in this century, I'd have hoped for better... especially among members of our own party or our so-called "allies".

I didn't feel like he was an ally. I felt more unease around him than I would around someone who is definitely not an ally.
