ELECTORAL MAP: Hillary Clinton is on track for a blowout win in November

An Electoral College map released Thursday from the University of Virginia Center for Politics projected Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton winning the November election by a landslide.

UVA altered its map to reflect recent changes in the likely political leanings of certain states, but Clinton still easily came out on top.

Larry Sabato, the director of the UVA Center for Politics, described what he said made the map different from most polls, which reflect the more fickle tendencies of the electorate. The UVA electoral map focused on "the electoral fundamentals and fixed elements of politics that predetermine most votes, especially partisanship, demographics, and strong forces shaping the political landscape."

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump saw a brief bump in the polls after the party's convention in July, but that lead slipped as Clinton regained ground after the Democrats' convention the following week.

a reason why Clinton is not participating in trump's gutter politics. What she is doing, is working. There are plenty of surrogates out there who will gladly take trump down.

IMO this is not enough. I want trump trounced. I want him beaten so badly we never hear from him again. I want him to be toxic to the media. His businesses are showing a decline, because of his candidacy. I want that fucker bankrupted and no banks willing to lend to him.

Get out the vote. Do not be happy she is winning. Be happy when she wins by YUuuuuge margins.

It has been a big mystery ,everybody got there own opinion...

I also read he has given the Dem Party money in pass years and only little to the Rep party guess one has to do research on it....

Do you see those states colored light blue - those are states which are learning to Hillary, where she is slightly ahead. While I think that her lead in those states will probably get larger as polls taken more recently are added in, right now those states add up to 98 electoral votes. With them as Hillary wins 347-191 as the article shows. However if they were all to flip to Trump (unlikely) it would be Hillary 249 -Trump 289.

Some states are fairly close; they re not "in the bag" by a long shot. For instance Nate Silver gives Hillary a 47.7% of the vote and Trump 44.1% in Ohio - a 3.6% lead. Florida is bit better 49.1% / 44.9 - 4.2% lead. Iowa 48.2% / 44.2% - 4.0% lead, and North Carolina 47.8% / 46.6% - 1.2% lead. If Trump can flip just those 4 states with 68 electoral votes, it get a lot closer in the Electoral College - Hillary 279 / Trump 259.

So here is what I would suggest:

1) Don count our chickens until they hatch.

2) GOTV

I am sure you all have noticed this--not just in this poll--but many of the recent polls--both state and National, where Hillary is trending up (sewer trumpy down)--but undecideds are going up in numbers.
