(47,209 posts)putting pressure on Bernie. First he answered questions about Trump, saying that Trumps rhetoric was like something from the 40's or 50's. Then he talked about how Bernie should realize Hillary has a long and strong and distuinguished record as a Dem in response to another Q that I missed.

(297,960 posts)going to have her as our nominee! "burnie has to understand that Hillary has been First Lady of Arkansas and the United States, a US Senator, SOS.. all these years, all these relationships as a Democrat."
".. burnie should not expect us to feel the same way about him as we do about her.." AMEN!
I James Clyburn!
Thank you so much for that, Boot! Who was the pundit that JC was telling it to?

(3,747 posts)the race (and continuing to bash Hillary) were very clear. He also was asked about BS saying that the fact that Rep. Clyburn and the other Dem Senators have endorsed Hillary and that BS is saying that his lack of endorsements means "the establishment is attacking him". Rep Clyburn didn't roll his eyes but I sure got the feeling he wanted to. He said that Hillary has been a Democrat working along side other Dems for many years and BS only decided to register as a Dem a few months ago. He didn't use these words but what it amounted to was... Why the hell would any of BS's colleagues endorse him when they all admire and respect Hillary for all the work she has done for Dem. causes while BS has never bothered to do much of anything. Hurray Rep. Clyburn!

(11,573 posts)It's absolutely insane for Bernie to think he deserves the same respect and deference that our party Elders receive.
