Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumMay I suggest that we Boycott any BS posts and posters here at DU....
Instead of responding to the flamebait...ignore all and every BS post. Let's not give them oxygen....they will only be in an echo chamber....No matter how irritating and incorrect they are...we as Hillary supporters rise up and stay way above the rhetoric here at DU....United, we give them no ear, no satisfaction, no voice.

(26,778 posts)Your post assumes that the Sanders supporters are a small enough proportion of DUers that they can't sustain a conversation entirely on their own.

(12,472 posts)Soon, they will get bored....they love to irritate and diminish Hillary. If we give them no audience, no one to fuel their vile attitude...they may just burn out.
I would only respond if inclined, not to the topic but repeatedly share...I support Hillary Clinton for President...she has my vote.

(23,818 posts)They know it's over and no matter how much negative stuff they post it's not going to change the outcome. Their bosses probably aren't even paying them anymore.
Used to be you'd go to the BS forum and the front page would change every few hours. Posts made at 9:00 would be on the 2nd page by noon unless it was kicked or had a lot of responses. Now not so much. Same posts on front page in the evening as in the morning.

(9,494 posts)No, when Bernie wins, he loses and it is reported that way. The only way they, and he, can stay relevant is by Hillary or her supporter engaging.
Hillary ignores Bernie because it literally makes him disappear! If we ignore his supporters it will just make them smaller no matter how many of them rant and rave until June.

puffy socks
(1,473 posts)and the negatives on Bernie.
I like asking what their views are on the issues. TPP, building health care system from the ACA with a public option, etc.
Nothing boils their blood more than facts and simply trying to discuss the issues, the very platform of Sanders campaign instead of flinging mud at each other! What phonies!
My mother always used to tell me that I should just walk away from bullies, that "bullies will eventually meet up with that person who sucks the wind out of their sails, that person who exposes their weaknesses with calm clarity and facts without fear of their reaction!" I always did the "right thing" and walked away.
I have since learned that walking away only emboldens bullies.. it hands them the reins and then they eventually crave more until their new innocent targets are forced to leave too .. 25 years later I am that person the bully will cross that sucks the wind out of their sails.
I fully enjoyed watching Sandra Fluke's articulate replies before the House Committee after being attacked by media , GOP and Rush Limbaugh as well as Hillary vs the Committee for the Benghazi hearings. I love hearing Elizabeth Warren ask if Chanin had his eyes stitched closed. "
Chanin, in turn, said: "There was simply no data presented to the Fed on a statistical basis that suggested that there was a meltdown in the mortgage market in 2005 or 2006."
A clearly exasperated Warren interrupted him.
"I'm sorry, are you saying there were no data in the lead up the financial crash that showed the increasing default rates on subprime mortgages and what they were doing to communities across America?" she said. "Did you have your eyes stitched closed?"
"No hard data..." Chanin started to respond.
"Oh my god," Warren sighed."
Yeah I'm sometimes a bit snarky but we can't even say "Yay for Hillary!' without being accused of "gloating" .

(11,746 posts)I suggest you just write them off. It's okay. At the end of the day 80% or 90% of Sanders voters will vote for Hillary Clinton and the rest will be perpetual whiners. They are dead weight.

I sometimes browse through the threads to see if anyone has tried to inject some sanity, but even when they do it is drowned out in the noise.

(12,472 posts)So, give them nothing to defend...simple phrase, I support Hillary Clinton for President.. She has my vote. Thus, they may as well be talking to their own reflection.. No nibbles anymore from us.

(15,445 posts)I refuse to open any thread in the BS Group or even in GD-P, unless it carries the screen name of an HRC person.
I don't hide any groups or forums, because I believe firmly in the old adage of "know thine enemy".
DO NOT ENGAGE. LEAVE THEM ALONE WITH THEIR OWN VITUPERATIVE VENOM, IMPRESSING EACH OTHER WITH ONE HATEFUL HYPERBOLE AFTER ANOTHER.

(15,445 posts)In my 10+ years on DU, I've had maybe 5 posts hidden in all that time, and I've NEVER had a time-out or my transparency page made visible.
But, in just the LAST 90 DAYS, since I "came out" for HRC, I've had 6 bogus hides and been on a 48-hour forced hiatus.
Their rabid alerting swarms are a menace to civil discourse. THEY SHALL BE SHUNNED! LOL!
