My God. They still think there's hope for him. The packed stadiums! The Quinnipiac poll! As if any of that negates 3 million plus votes and 300 plus pledged delegates. Not to mention those awful Super Delegates that they think will save him. They're going to fall hard when they finally do; I hope that does not transfer to a disrupted convention. Not when he lost so badly.

2. Bernie is still saying he can be the nominee and the people at his rallies believe it

He even snickered that Hillary claims he can't win. He is so much more obnoxious than he was at the beginning.

I am appreciating more each day the way Hillary handled defeat in '08. She displayed true depth of character and grace. She was Presidential!

rallies. It will only cause the general public to perceive them as zealots. The focus will then be on the GE. They will continue raiding forums probably even more intensly right after the convention. They will eventually tire ...anger takes a lot out of people, and the others tire of hearing the same lines over and over again and don't look kindly upon those unwilling to compromise.

5. It's pretty cultish behavior in my opinion. Facts be damned. Math be damned.

If they just BELIEVE hard enough (and smear often enough) then it will come true.

They certainly hold great veneration of Bernie and it has manifested itself by a body of admirers and certain "rules" of loyalty that (apparently) do not include realism, and those who do "stray" from the flock and make frank statements about Bernie's actual chances ... well, those people are quickly excommunicated and thrown under the bus. Their adoration of him is almost "sacred" (as is their hatred of Hillary ... some even call her "evil" or "Satan" in their wildest posts ... so they've got the "good-vs-evil" thing taken care of.) They are frequently quite extreme in their attacks of not just Hillary, but her supporters as we saw in those "screaming gauntlet" photos.

Of course these are just my own personal observations and opinions. Others may have different opinions, but these opinions are mine.
