Will someone please clue me in on what the damn "sanders' rule" is? lol Oh, is it Super Dels don't count?!
I haven't had enough of the Guam Win yet!
Tim Robbins had this to say...
Winning South Carolina is like "winning Guam"!

(2,550 posts)That the winner of each state should get all of those states super delegates.
It's an OK idea but it's not the way it's done and also removes the reason for super delegates.

(67,782 posts)....so many.
So, let's look at them all:
In states that have voted, here's how it would be:
Current commitment - - Clinton 389, Sanders 33 (Clinton +356)
Winner take all - Clinton 374, Sanders 156 (Clinton +218)
Proportional - Clinton 279, Sanders 244(Clinton +35)
Even the new idea thrown out by Sanders this week, that superdelegates in states won by some unidentified "landslide" (by how much?)
"Landslide" > 60% - Clinton 386, Sanders 95 (Clinton +291)
"Landslide" > 65% - Clinton 387, Sanders 73(Clinton +314)
Considering the fact that Clinton is still ahead by about 290 pledged delegates, NONE of ever-changing schemes made up by the Sanders campaign will enable him to catch up.
Cha

Thank you for the "rules", George..
This is what metroins offered up thread..
That the winner of each state should get all of those states super delegates.

You both came to the same conclusion, though.

Cha
(298,021 posts)It's fun speculating on all the possible BS rules there are.. "math proves nothing" is obviously spot on from sanders inc.
Another one could be.. I was against Super Dels before I was for them.. but that could change next week.
I like metroins', too..

(11,639 posts)Even if Bernie has his way he loses.
He is just bluffing to keep going, but then the question is why?
Many say it is the money--could be. Perhaps he is trying to force Hillary to make him VP by keeping his supporters primed and engaged, or maybe he just can't stop himself. Maybe Bernie isn't all there and he isn't bluffing at all--maybe he really believes that up is down and the sky is green.
