Sanders will be on Rachel's show for the full hour tonight (so much for media blackout).

I think Rachel is great, but considering the way she's been with Jane Sanders -all softballs and praise- I don't expect tonight's show to be more than an hour-long ad for him. I don't know if I'll be able to watch.

I'd love for her to ask him about the FEC inquiries, How he went from condemning the SDs, to ask them to give him the nomination; how he yells, screams and rants against the establishment, and now wants the establishment to crown him with the nomination, against the will of the people.

She should ask him if he is fine with spitting of the faces of women, AA and Latinos who overwhelmingly voted for Clinton.

I'd love to see her asking those questions...but I'm not holding my breath.

The whole nation has stockholm syndrome because we failed to see the greatness in Dear Leader.

The only thing I ever want to hear from Sanders is a statement of full support for Hillary Clinton for President and somehow I think I'm never going to hear that from him.

is off in his little world.

Of course, after Rachel's typical 20-minute circular intro to the evening's lead story, Sanders will only get 20 minutes of airtime after commercial breaks. That's enough time to give his stump speech twice.

Rachel raised ire just this week virtually calling it for Hillary. I can see him agreeing to an hour, thinking she's safe for him. I can just as easily see her using an extended interview to regain her rep as a journo and NOT go easy on him. She'll have time, if she's up to it, to pin him like the NY Daily news did in their interview.

Not sure this is going to go as Sanders thinks it will. I might even watch.

I am anxious to hear from others (with law background) what the ramifications of this are. I was very confused by the fact that Sanders' Senate financial disclosure showed Jane's payments from Burlington College as simply "over $1000." Are the spouse's requirements for filing amounts different from that of the senator?

I hope someone who knows more than I do can weigh in.

But it seems that the big issue rests with Jane's "overstating" total pledges by donors to the college, in order to secure the loan.

30. She needs to ask substantive questions about his policies.
Fri May 6, 2016, 06:20 PM

I think asking questions about taxes and such is irrelevant, it will just go in circles. What she needs to really ask is direct policy questions and what transpired during the campaign.

For example:

1. You say you don't believe in incrementalism when it comes to climate change, yet during the debates you contradicted yourself saying it will not take a day to completely leave nuclear energy. How can you propose a "day 1" change bypassing bureaucracy?

2. Through innuendo, you claim that Hillary is beholden to big banks, yet when asked to give an example, you couldn't. However, in your own words, you claim to have soften your position against the NRA to win an election. Is that not an example of changing your views for political gain, which you accuse Hillary of?

3. If we were to have free public colleges and government funded healthcare, how much do you expect the average American to pay in increased taxes? How will your policy decrease the USA debt rather than increasing it?

4. You have said several times in your life how you don't believe in the democratic party and your beliefs do not align with the party and as early as 2015 you confess to using the party for media exposure. In addition, you refuse to raise money for down ballot democrats and criticize Hillary for doing so..why are you running as a democrat?

5. You claim from the get go that your campaign will be only about issues/policies, Why has your campaign change from expressing progressive ideas to maligning the character of Ms. Clinton?

6. The DNC has NEVER gone against the will of the people. In fact, during the 2008 primaries Hillary won several states at the last stretch and actually won the popular vote ahead of Obama. Now, Weaver tells us that he will use that "momentum" argument and turn superdelegates against Clinton. Why do you think the DNC should break their long standing rule and go against the nominee with the most pledge delegates and the most votes (including Trump)?
Bernie will say "the polls" and hypotheticals- Then Rachel can ask, is it not true that Hillary has been vetted for 25 years and her character has been attacked by the republicans and recently your very own campaign relentlessly? You are new to the public arena and have not been vetted regarding your policies and affiliations. As such, is it not true that hypothetical general elections polls are irrelevant?

7. How do you feel that your stump speech against Hillary is being used by Trump? How do you feel that Trump wants you to run as an independent to simply divide the party?

Since that's all he does. This comment from another website sums him up perfectly.

Does Bernie EVER stop complaining? He uses people, insults them and throws them to the dogs when they don't bow at his feet, refuses to even commit to the party if he isn't the nominee, provides the opposition with their key talking points, encourages his supporters to be as nasty as possible and then whines incessantly about how other people aren't being fair.
