Donald Trump wrong that Hillary Clinton 'doesn’t do very well with women' ~ Pants on Fire

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2016/may/02/donald-trump/donald-trump-wrong-hillary-clinton-doesnt-do-very-/

"Frankly, (Hillary Clinton) doesn’t do very well with women."
— Donald Trump on Monday, May 2nd, 2016 in an interview on CNN's "New Day"

Excerpt:

So, Clinton’s 19-point average lead over Trump among women -- if it held all the way to November -- would give her the biggest winning margin among women of any presidential candidate since at least 1980.

Finally, it’s worth noting that Clinton is not universally beloved by women -- but her ratings are a whole lot better than Trump’s. In April’s GWU/Battleground poll, for instance, Clinton scored a 51 percent favorable rating among women, with 47 percent unfavorable. By contrast, Trump’s rating among women in the same poll was 26 percent favorable, 71 percent unfavorable.

The flip side is that Clinton does under-perform among men; the GWU/Battleground poll found that views of Clinton among men are 33 percent favorable, 66 percent unfavorable. Karlyn Bowman, a poll analyst for the American Enterprise Institute, considers this "a big problem for her."

But the silver lining, she added, is that "if past elections are a guide, more women will vote than men – probably about 53 to 54 percent."

Our ruling

Trump said, "Frankly, (Hillary Clinton) doesn’t do very well with women."

The evidence he used to support this claim during the CNN interview -- his large margins among women in recent GOP primaries -- is undeniable, but says nothing about how well Clinton does among women. In fact, looking at a cross-section of April polls, Clinton’s average lead over Trump among female voters is bigger than any nominee has registered in an actual presidential election election in at least 36 years. We rate Trump’s statement Pants on Fire.

Are they permanently drunk? Were they polled in a post-concussion state? Was there an angry redneck man standing behind their shoulder as they were answering the question?

" We already knew white supremacists were endorsing Donald Trump for President and assaulting young black women at his vitriolic campaign rallies.
Now, in a new video from PBS, we see an apparent neo-Nazi working in his North Carolina campaign office and making calls on his behalf.
Grace Tilly, a 33-year-old woman from Fayetteville, N.C., wearing Trump gear and working for the campaign, is seen with multiple tattoos that are commonly associated with white supremacists and neo-Nazis.
One, a large “88” on her hand, is a widely known neo-Nazi code for “Heil Hitler.” The letter “H” is the 8th letter of the alphabet.

On the other hand, Tilly displayed a tattoo of the Stormfront logo, also known as Odin’s Cross. Stormfront is the largest white supremacist website in the world."....

Even President Obama has said as much, that corporate media has gone from being the People's watchdog to the elites' lapdog.

Their current job description is to criticize and vilify Democrats - the ONLY Party that's beaten the Republican Party for more than a century. The political Party that's a threat to the fascist Party in our country is the Party that the media will try and take down with savvy trigger words any which way they can and call it "reporting".

for Trump to be anywhere near the WH in a decision-making mode.

Then there is this: http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2016/05/dont-panic-donald-trump-will-never-ever-be-preside.html

Even aside from his big-picture unfavorable ratings, Donald Trump is especially unpopular with minority groups, women, and younger voters (a.k.a. “Millennials”). Trump is running an openly racist campaign, and the 2016 general election will have the most diverse electorate in history. Donald Trump has a long track record (not just during this campaign!) of saying horrible things about women, and women tend to vote at higher rates than men. Women have outvoted men in the past two presidential elections by a range of 4 million-7 million votes, and Trump is viewed negatively by 70 percent of women nationwide.

Simply put, women and minorities HATE Trump, and those are the groups of voters who will really decide the election in November. Plus, where are the “new voters” that Trump is really bringing to the general election? Trump has been really good at energizing the racist morons and losers who already came out to vote against the Black Guy in 2008 and 2012, but he’s not going to bring hordes of new voters to the polls in November. Lots more people are going to be strongly motivated to vote AGAINST Trump than to vote FOR him. Latino turnout is going to be off the charts. Millennials hate Trump too, and they’re the most populous generation in America now. And I’m no expert on what women want (just ask my wife! Ha ha!) but is it possible, ever so slightly, that some women might be particularly motivated to turn out to vote against a sexist bully while also, oh by the way, electing the First Woman President???

Basically, if Black turnout and Latino turnout stay anywhere near the levels where they were in 2012, and if women turn out to vote against a man who openly despises them, and if those zany Millennials can stop Snapchatting nude photos to each other long enough to actually show up at the ballot box, Trump is toast.
