Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumBernie Sanders is our biggest roadblock in defeating Donald Trump!
Democrats across the country are waking up to the news that Donald Trump is the nominee for the GOP and he is running a, practically, unobstructed race to the White House. Why? Because the de facto Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, is being force to continue in a nominating race that she has mathematically won weeks ago.
Unfortunately for our party and our country, Hillary's opponent is a false Democrat who has repeatedly stated his dislike for the party and everything it stands for. His surrogate, Susan Sarandon, has stated that it would be better for the country if Donald Trump were elected. He pretends that being a distraction for the next three months is for the benefit of the country. He is happy to risk our future so that he can amass some personal political power that he can wield no matter who wins the presidency.
America is in the grips of two dangerous egomaniacal men who care more for their own aggrandizement than our welfare. Certainly Donald Trump is the worst of the lot but he is now being aided and abetted by Bernie Sanders.

(1,359 posts)From here until the convention, it's going to be nothing but the media giving him an uncritical outlet for his convention fantasies, and since I already know he's lost (even if he won't admit it), there's just no value in even reading anything about him any more.
I never thought I would say I would be glad to see the conversation turn to Trump but Bernie has managed to make that happen!
Thank you Walk Away for your post!

(30,058 posts)to his words. Hopefully he will make the united moves and work to get as many votes as possible in the GE for the DNC nominee. Just when we think it could not get worse than another post turtle as president, the GOP will have Trump as a post turtle, no more Bush type presidents.
