TSA lets rapper keep his weed, leaves note

Rapper Freddie Gibbs got his stash by airport security… kind of.
The baggage screeners at the Denver airport found a half ounce of weed in his luggage and scribbled him the words “C’mon son” on the screening notice.

“The TSA found my weed and let me keep it,” he wrote. “They just left me a note. ‘C’mon Son.’”

Houston rapper Bun B, who’s collaborated with Freddie Gibbs in the past, replied on Twitter, “easy…”

3. For a half an ounce in Denver?

City of Denver it is legal for adults. State of Colorado, that amount is a ticketing offense. Of course, in many places there are many people in jail for simple possession. Still, in that location, the most TSA could accomplish is calling an annoyed cop to write a ticket for the sack under State Law. Not city law.
Colorado law does not include jail time for half an ounce of pot. They might pay a fine. Like jay walking.
Still you are right in other places and that is an outrage in itself. I'd say in this case, it is more the 'where' than the 'who'.
