Vision Pro

Anyone else excited to try it out? I preordered and will be getting it on the 2nd. Super excited to use it for work (I currently have three screens, will be able to go down to one huge 4k virtual and most of my work apps are coming to it too so I can run them in their own areas). Super excited to see the future (it feels like the iPhone launch to me - I waited 24 hours overnight for it when it first launched).

This review in particular got me really thinking of what all the future holds:

(My perspective may be different as I’m a mid 50s art Director that doesn’t game - so will be using it mostly for work, entertainment and hobbies).

Actually, I’m not kidding. I’m damn nearsighted, and those diopter corrections on camera viewfinders don’t have anywhere near enough adjustment capability. Maybe I’ll ask Apple!!

You cannot wear Apple Vision Pro while wearing eyeglasses. If you require prescription eyeglasses, including for astigmatism, you may be able to order prescription ZEISS Optical Inserts that can be used with your Vision Pro

You can’t wear glasses in it - they have partnered with ZEISS to make optical inserts. They are $99. It won’t work if you have a +4< stigmatism (for now - third party solutions will likely cover this). It also does not work with hard contacts.
