New product rumors help Apple stock grow to all-time high
Apple closed Friday, August 22, at 101.32, +.74 for the day.
Apple has been on a roll recently, rising 36% since mid-April amid strong quarterly results, a 7-to-one stock split completed in June and high hopes for new products. Investors are waiting with bated breath for the arrival of the iWatch later this year and the hotly anticipated Sept. 9 launch of the new iPhone 6.
