What is 'InstallSheildUpdate Magager', where did it come from and:

Why do I need it? How do Im get rid of it?

Notice has appeared for several months on the bottom of my screen and I have ignored it. It keeps coming back. Things like this make me cringe. I don't know --(as you all know)-- how to cope with these things. Still trying to get the courage to contact a great DUer about neighbors using my wi-fi and how to cope with that. Anything beyond the norm sends this old granny through the roof. If I screw up, I have to call someone to help and that costs me much $$ to have my guru help me out. SS only goes so far.
Shoot! I miss the days of the calculator and the written word.

If so, you can probably ignore it. You may be able to right-click on it, and have the option of disabling or closing it.
