UKIP candidate: a gay donkey attacked my horse

A member of UKIP from Wales who is a candidate for Parliament has claimed that a gay donkey once tried to rape his horse, and further, this somehow proves that LGBT humans like to have sex with animals.

I did not make this up. No, really.

From the article:

John Rees-Evans, who is the party’s PPC in Cardiff South and Penarth, made the bizarre comments outside the opening of a new UKIP shop in Merthyr.

Protesters read him a quotation from the party’s former Oxford chair Dr Julia Gasper, who claimed some homosexuals prefer sex with animals.

Mr Rees-Evans replied: “Actually I’ve witnessed that."

Ok, Mr. Rees-Evans. 1st of all, when you object to some dude hooking up with your daughter and they defy you, that isn't "rape". That's just you being a controlling prick. Same with the mentioned equines.
2. Human males and human females are not different species, they're different genders. Homosexuals like to have consensual sex with members of the same gender. Homosexuality has nothing to do with "rape". Rapists commit rape, and it really hasn't much to do with sex. It's more about being a brutal asshole.
Your example is clueless.

And, to the Honorable Dr. Julia: Homosexuals are dudes who like dudes, and sometimes girls who like girls. No definition of that term includes horsies. That's bestiality.

En re: Mr. Rees-Evans affirmation: Dude, why were you watching?
