Neiman Marcus to close in Bellevue by fall as the company moves through bankruptcy proceedings

Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus is closing its downtown Bellevue store as part of the chain’s plan to close four locations across the country while in bankruptcy proceedings.

A call center clerk in Dallas confirmed the store in Bellevue is closing, likely by fall.

The store is located in The Shops at The Bravern, part of a mixed-used complex at 11111 N.E. Eighth St. A call to the center was not returned.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on brick-and-mortar retailers across the country, including in Seattle, where some have already filed for bankruptcy and sales.
