Coronavirus update: Statewide cases reach 54,205; 1,548 deaths

As more and more tests were made available and completed, the number of cases of COVID-19 in Washington steadily grew. The number of confirmed cases statewide as of Tuesday climbed to 54,205, including 1,548 deaths according to the Washington State Department of Health.

As of Tuesday, there were 14,729 cases in King County according to King County Public Health's dashboard. That included 644 deaths.

The outbreak has now reached all 39 of Washington's counties, the majority of which are still in King, Snohomish, Yakima and Pierce counties. Garfield County was the latest to report its first case.
