Washington
Related: About this forumMe filling out my primary ballot this week
"Good God, why are there so many people running for governor? ... Inslee. Check. Ok Google, who is the lieutenant governor of Washington? Who is the auditor of Washington? Etc., etc."
I voted for every incumbent Democrat in statewide office, and then in my district, I voted for Armitage even though I'm not fully on board with his campaign. I don't have strong policy problems with him, but he uses a lot of Jacobin language attacking the Democratic party.
However, my current rep is Kathy McMorris Rogers, so literally anyone would be better.
At one point, I pulled up lists from the Seattle PI and weekly to see who they were recommending.
But my goodness there were a lot of people running for governor.

(58,605 posts)IMHO she's handled the voting system well.
Can't see any other R's I will voter for. I kind of hate that so many positions are "non-partisan."
Yeah, I say keep Inslee, he pisses off the Repubs because he's done farily well overall.
Denny Heck for Lt Gov on my ballot.

(906 posts)Some ridiculous ones. A couple that I really cant stand. Then Inslee he is not afraid of trump I like that.
I found a couple of websites that help with information instead of a lot of trying to dig up articles etc.
Vote411.org sends a list of questions to each candidate. Unfortunately not all answer.
Anyhow the nice thing about that website is it allows you to put two candidates side by side for comparison.
It covers all states and races.
Progressivevotersguide.com will show who they recommend with some info about the candidate.
And then the league of women voters of Washington has some good information
