Two killed in plane crash in Portland
PORTLAND, TEXAS - Two people were killed Saturday afternoon when the small plane they were flying in crashed in Portland.
Portland police said the aircraft crashed near the edge of the water at the North Shore Country Club around 2:20 p.m. Police were unsure where the plane was flying to or what brought it down.

Too lax on who can fly? Too easy to get trained? Perhaps a look at procedures and regulations are in order. The families will never be the same again.
