Primary Vote: An Interesting Experience
Just got back from voting in the PA Primary. Was signing in using the little rubber tipped crayon thing my county uses to sign in to vote. As usual, it looked horrible. One of the ladies watching the desk told the clerk to have me re-sign on the pad. The clerks who checked me in knew I was registered to vote. I asked what the issue was and the lady who asked me to sign in again said she was concerned my signature could be challenged (by someone at the court house).
I can tell you, just about no body can reproduce their signature using these electronic pads versus what they produced when they signed their voter registration using a pen and paper. I wonder if a certain political party will be checking (electronic) signatures and challenging those, like myself, whose voter signature is way off of what's in the voter registry.
