This was just a straight up move to reduce the numbers of gainfully employed people.

I dont understand why oregons legislature seems to want to shoot itself in the foot with this piddly junk. Sales taxes. Road tolls. Self serve gas. None of these help anyone, all they do is annoy oregonians.
