(34,124 posts)I'm an observer for the state and county Democratic party for the county I work in, so I've been at the BOE large portions of two days. There has been a steady flow of people from the time the BOE opens its doors at 8:00 AM until around a half hour before it closes. Today (the last day to register to vote) was about 30% heavier than the first day. The pollworkers said it was lighter on Friday, but that Tuesday-Thursday and today were heavier than any they saw last year. Lots of new registrations, as well.
