Cleveland still in the running for Republican National Convention.

Last edited Fri May 23, 2014, 01:44 PM - Edit history (1)

The list was narrowed to four cities today: Kansas City, Dallas, Denver, and Cleveland.
Cincinnati was withdrawn by its sponsors due to facilities not adequate for that convention; Las Vegas was also eliminated.

Both Columbus and Cleveland are both among a number of cities in the running for the Democratic National Convention.
Cincinnati did not apply for the Democratic convention.

Some of those wealthy people already pledged significant amounts of money to bring the convention there.

Plus there is the possibility that two Republicans from Texas might be entering the race so there will be some effort to rally support from those candidates since they could be the top pick or a serious contender for VP.

in trying to get this convention, but they were hamstrung from the start by the arena venue not having enough private boxes, elevators, etc. The Arena is privately owned.

So that they can arrest people for expressing their Right to Free Speech, saying that Pukes suck!

Snark.
