Report: Cuomo Set To Unveil Expanded Abortion Rights Bill

Governor Andrew Cuomo is reportedly planning to introduce legislation that would expand abortion rights across the state.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the proposal would change state law to allow abortions after 24 weeks of pregnancy in order to protect a woman's health.

Currently, late term abortion are only allowed if the woman's life is at risk.

Federal law already allows for such abortions.
