Subway rider robbed and thrown onto tracks in Manhattan

NEW YORK (WABC) -- A fight over an iPhone ended up with a subway rider on the tracks.

Police say a man in his 20's got into a fight with another man who stole his smartphone while the two were riding the northbound 'E' train Saturday night.

The fight continued on the platform after the train pulled in at the 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue station.

The robbery victim was thrown onto the tracks, where he suffered minor injuries. Police say his wallet was also stolen.
