I see he is not going to have a primary. hrmjustin May 2014 #1
Thank you so much! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #4
Do you think the dems will win in Novermber? hrmjustin May 2014 #6
I'm the wrong one to ask, since I never dreamed Bush* would persevere in 2004 Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #7
oh my! hrmjustin May 2014 #8
LOL, yes, I have heard of him Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #9
My mother called told him off at a parade earlier this year. hrmjustin May 2014 #10
Kudos to your mother!!! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #11
Well she had a walker so he would have certainly been in trouble if he did tgat to a 66 year old hrmjustin May 2014 #12
LOL! Did you see Bill Maher tonight? Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #13
I didn't get to see it but I will make sure I do in the next few days. hrmjustin May 2014 #14
He sounds more like a Dem than Owens, that's for sure!!! Cooley Hurd May 2014 #2
Indeed! I hope he can get elected there. hrmjustin May 2014 #3
I was wondering if you'd heard of him, he's a documentary filmmaker Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #5
The Republicans are having a moment. hrmjustin May 2014 #15
Matt Doheny ran against Bill Owens in the last election - and lost. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #16
Hopefully it backfires on both of them. hrmjustin May 2014 #17
Hoping they cancel each other out... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #18
I hope the meetup goes well. hrmjustin May 2014 #25
Well, Aaron Woolf looks nice! Good Luck, Rhiannon! Cha May 2014 #19
Thanks! I'm certainly wishing him well! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #20
He sounds really smart and is heartfelt.. more than qualified! Cha May 2014 #21
That's certainly true of Republican Elise Stefanik, seems to be especially objectionable: Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #22
Gross. Cha May 2014 #23
Seeing these signs around here make my blood run cold. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #24
kicking because I am unpinning this. I hope it went well. hrmjustin May 2014 #26
Thanks so much, Justin, and I think it went very well! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #27
Sounds llike it was a great night. hrmjustin May 2014 #28
He sounds pretty progressive, to me Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #29
Well I am glad you can support him. hrmjustin May 2014 #30
I'd prefer if I'd even been to the northern town he's from, LOL Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #31
Redistricting is the worst. hrmjustin May 2014 #32
Oddly, redistricting gave us a Democrat, Bill Owens Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #33
We got pretty much the same district in my area. hrmjustin May 2014 #34
I'll wait till something comes to me Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #37
I understand. hrmjustin May 2014 #39
If you have a pets name you might use it. hrmjustin May 2014 #35
I already did, LOL! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #36
Lol thats great. hrmjustin May 2014 #38
So many names are already taken on DU Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #40
What an adorable dog. I got 5 cats. hrmjustin May 2014 #41
Really?! I never knew! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #42
Adorable! hrmjustin May 2014 #43
Reminds me that I need to clean the litter box tonight. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #44
I had a beagle for 13 years when I was younger but no other dogs. hrmjustin May 2014 #45
I've had dogs since I was a kid Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #46
Puppys have too much enetgy. kittens are worse because they zoom through the house. hrmjustin May 2014 #47
I adopt senior dogs since they're the ones who need me. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #48
All my cats were stray cats that crossed my path. hrmjustin May 2014 #49
That's wonderful. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #50
I don't trust photobucket so I don't post my pics of them. hrmjustin May 2014 #51
I learned about Photobucket here on DU Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #52
I kniw people here that had there identity revealed by them and cavers got that info. hrmjustin May 2014 #53
I know that some banned/disgruntled DUers go there Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #54
the cave is down now and they go to the conservativeunderground.com now. hrmjustin May 2014 #55
That's almost as bad... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #56
this is why I won't use that site photobucket. hrmjustin May 2014 #57
You can have "private" albums on Photobucket... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #58
Do you have to pay? hrmjustin May 2014 #59
No, only if you have some huge amount of photos. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #60
I will look into it one day. hrmjustin May 2014 #61
If I can figure out Photobucket, anyone can, LOL. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #62
We shall see how it goes. hrmjustin May 2014 #63
Owens supports Woolf for Congress hrmjustin May 2014 #64
Good stuff! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #65
I have relatives in southern Dutchess County. hrmjustin May 2014 #66
Maybe I talked to them, LOL. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #67
Plattsburgh is the Canadian border so that is too far for you. hrmjustin May 2014 #68
I know! It is practically in Canada... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #69
I have relatives up there. hrmjustin May 2014 #70
It certainly is! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #71
I love our Senator and that was Patersons best moment picking her. hrmjustin May 2014 #72
I totally agree! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #73
Too bad her husband didn't run for the seat. hrmjustin May 2014 #74
She endorsed Scott Murphy, lives not far from me in Glens Falls Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #76
How many votes did he win by? hrmjustin May 2014 #79
365 or 395, something like that. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #80
That is close but others have been closer. hrmjustin May 2014 #82
I remember when Caroline Kennedy was up for that Senate position. hrmjustin May 2014 #75
And she doesn't forget her old district... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #77
That is important. We need upstate representation in Albany. hrmjustin May 2014 #78
I agree, though the population is much sparser up here. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #81
I bet their are a lot of dairy farms up there. hrmjustin May 2014 #83
NY21: Is Elise Stefanik a fresh new voice or a carpetbagger? hrmjustin May 2014 #84
If she's from Albany, that's "local" to me Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #86
Is she tea party? hrmjustin May 2014 #87
As much as Paul Ryan is. I'm wondering if she can survive the primary since she's an unknown Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #88
The more I look at your district I think Wolf can win. hrmjustin May 2014 #89
I certainly hope so, but they did vote for a teabagger in 2010... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #90
It looks like we have 6 or 7 swing districts in NY this year. hrmjustin May 2014 #91
Stefanik on the campaign trail hrmjustin May 2014 #85
What role will unions play in race for NY21? hrmjustin May 2014 #92
Quite a bit, I'd say, since the Aaron Woolf meetup was at the new Steamfitters Union building Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #94
Glad to hear it. Union support is huge in the primaries in the city. hrmjustin May 2014 #96
There's a lot of union support in these parts, just hope it benefits Aaron Woolf. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #99
if Cuomo does ok up there it should help. hrmjustin May 2014 #101
Obama won the district both times Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #106
Doesn't say here. hrmjustin May 2014 #109
Yikes! This is huge! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #112
I think it is the largest district in NY and the 2nd or 3rd in the Northeast. hrmjustin May 2014 #114
District 20 went to the South, included Greene and Dutchess counties Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #118
I just read on a rw link that the district both times voted for Obama. hrmjustin May 2014 #119
That makes sense, since he won here, too. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #124
RI and Mass are solidly dem but had Gop governors a long time as nyc had gop mayors for 20 years. hrmjustin May 2014 #125
And the Republican brand has changed, as well Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #129
Yes. VT NJ and NH were republican states in the presidential races until 1992. hrmjustin May 2014 #132
It seems like Governor Rockefeller was in office for most of my life Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #134
My family is fridnds with Senator Marty Golden here but we don't vote for him. hrmjustin May 2014 #136
My Dad was friends with all the local Republicans, was politically active Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #140
My mother was always a democrat. my father is a registered republican but hasn't voted gop since hrmjustin May 2014 #142
My Dad was a Republican because my grandmother was Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #146
We hated Bush jr. in my family. Papa Bush was not hated but we didn't want him. hrmjustin May 2014 #149
My mother really liked Poppy and Barbara Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #154
Sounds. like Clinton turnec a lot of people. hrmjustin May 2014 #157
Larry Sabato has this race as a toss-up. hrmjustin May 2014 #93
Great! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #97
I think the woman candidate is more tea party. hrmjustin May 2014 #98
Most of what I've read about her is the controversy about where she's from Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #102
The adirondackdailyenterprise.com has interesting articles on the race. hrmjustin May 2014 #103
Thanks! I should look that up... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #107
Yes. You guys don't get mailers before a vote from the election board? hrmjustin May 2014 #110
Yes, you're right. But I don't recall getting one recently Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #113
Maybe next week. hrmjustin May 2014 #115
Guess I should pass this info on to my brother Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #120
Lol I was so proud of her when she won here. I hope she runs for president. hrmjustin May 2014 #122
Me, too! She'll have my vote! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #126
He wad under tremendous pressure not to but he rightly did it anyway. hrmjustin May 2014 #127
Wasn't his first choice Caroline Kennedy? Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #131
No the media and the Kenndies along with Obama pushed him on it but he said no. hrmjustin May 2014 #133
I remember that was a controversy, a big story at the time Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #135
Yeah that was a bummer. hrmjustin May 2014 #137
They say that the midterms favor the opposition party Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #141
I don't think it will be a big gop year. hrmjustin May 2014 #143
I certainly hope not! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #147
the polls don't show a wave at this point. hrmjustin May 2014 #150
The key, I think, is getting the vote out Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #155
They need to soon. it is a huge district. hrmjustin May 2014 #158
Primary Day Looms for NY 21st District Candidates Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #95
I don't get the 2 primary system we have in this state now. hrmjustin May 2014 #100
I had to look it up because I was confused. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #104
This has to do with some federal law that Schumer put in. I think the pri ary should be on one day hrmjustin May 2014 #105
I agree. Getting folks out numerous times is confusing, leads to lower turnout and higher expense Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #108
indeed. I am sure their are motives for it. someone is making money off of it. hrmjustin May 2014 #111
Seems like we're always having Republican primaries around here Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #116
We got plenty of dem primaries down here and few gop ones. hrmjustin May 2014 #117
Until Kirsten Gillibrand ran, and won, in 2006 Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #121
Wow. I remember reading thst NY was a swing state several decades ago. hrmjustin May 2014 #123
New York is only considered a blue state because of the city. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #128
Sweeney was considered a possible speaker at one point. hrmjustin May 2014 #130
He really has gone way downhill... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #138
We had Congressman Fossela who got drunk and drove. His mistress bailed him out. hrmjustin May 2014 #139
Exactly! LOL! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #144
You think he might run again? hrmjustin May 2014 #145
Absolutely no way. He's toast... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #148
Good. He had the look of a drunk. hrmjustin May 2014 #151
Yup, here's my distinguished former congressman: Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #152
That is priceless. hrmjustin May 2014 #153

no problem. just wanted to make sure you are ok. hrmjustin May 2014 #167
Thank you, my friend! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #168
lol. I heard they debated in thd gop primary in your district and Romney endorsed the male candidate hrmjustin May 2014 #169
I'm not surprised! But, remember, Obama won the district. I'm more worried about Elise. :( Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #170
Oh he is one of Fox's pretend famous people. hrmjustin May 2014 #171
Well, he didn't have much of an impact on the voters... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #172
It looks like your old district became the 19th district. hrmjustin May 2014 #173
I think that it also encompasses part of District 22 Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #174
The UAW endorsed the democrat. hrmjustin May 2014 #175
Thanks for the heads up! I wish him luck... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #176
Sounds a lot like 2010. hrmjustin May 2014 #177
It scares me when they predict Republicans winning the midterms Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #178
I think if the dems play their cards right they can win seats in the house. hrmjustin May 2014 #179
Something really has to give there - and soon. Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #180
It stinks being in the minority in the house. hrmjustin May 2014 #181
Agreed, and just now has to be the worst Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #182
Gingrich changed all that. hrmjustin May 2014 #183
I think Hastert was culpable too... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #184
Indeed he was as was Delay. hrmjustin May 2014 #185
Not to mention his dancing! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #186
lol. hrmjustin May 2014 #187
One of the posts that made me laugh the hardest here was very short Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #188
he quit the show like he did congress. hrmjustin May 2014 #189
Didn't he have bad feet, or something? ;) Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #190
He had a so called health issue and had to stop on the show. hrmjustin May 2014 #191
How long has it been? Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #193
Well the appeals court threw out his conviction but the higher courts are dealing with it now. hrmjustin May 2014 #195
here is a link. hrmjustin May 2014 #197
Thanks! Made sure to check the date on that article, LOL Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #199
I don't trust the courts with him. hrmjustin May 2014 #201
Given the history of this, me neither Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #202
I always thought he was the devil incarnate. hrmjustin May 2014 #204
He was clearly one of the worst Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #206
He was the one responsible for the Clinton impeachment. hrmjustin May 2014 #208
Which was one of the worst wastes of time and tax money in history! Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #211
And Bush was not impeached. hrmjustin May 2014 #213
Doheny vs. Stefanik in first debate hrmjustin May 2014 #192
Thanks! Wish I'd seen that. I don't like him, voted against him, but dislike her more Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #194
my guess is he will win the primary. hrmjustin May 2014 #196
I guess that's my hope, since he lost the last time... Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #198
It is good that the dems don't have a primary. hrmjustin May 2014 #200
They had one once, 2004 I think Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #203
I am glad he is the candidate. hrmjustin May 2014 #205
Me, too! I liked all I heard and he's a good speaker Rhiannon12866 May 2014 #207

We rarely have Democratic primaries around here, my friend. *sigh* When John Sweeney (R) was the rep, for years and years, it was lucky that any Dem ran against him. That is, until Kirsten Gillibrand ran in 2006, with the support of President Clinton who came to the district to campaign for her. That was exciting and I got to see him, great speaker and very charismatic, LOL. However, we are now redistricted, and this guy and the incumbent Democrat, Bill Owens, are from way up north, impressed he's coming here...

But I think this guy stands an excellent chance if Bill Owens supporters get behind him, at least I hope so. This is a little new to me since we were District 20, far to the south, until the last election. However, I've heard about the Republican who's running against him and she sounds almost as objectionable as Michele Bachmann, is basing her campaign on undoing everything that the president has accomplished...

For example:

Real Health Care Solutions

Repeal Obamacare and replace it with common sense solutions to lower health care costs and improve quality and access

Families and small businesses in the North Country want health care that works for them and fits their specific needs. Instead, Obamacare has caused premiums to rise, coverage plans to be dropped, and small businesses to cut employees and reduce shifts and work hours. This is not the way to reform health care to improve quality and increase access. My family’s business lost our health care plan as a result of Obamacare, and we are now forced to pay more for less coverage.

To lower costs and improve care, Elise believes we need to repeal Obamacare and replace with common sense solutions; including to allow Upstate families and businesses to shop for insurance across state lines; pursue real tort reform; fight the waste, fraud and abuse that costs our health care system billions each year; protect those with pre-existing conditions by funding state-level high-risk pools; and allow individuals and families to purchase insurance on the same tax-advantaged basis as businesses.

Michael Grimm is also on Bill Maher's "Flip a District" brackets...

I've actually heard more about this Elise than I have about Aaron Woolf, so far, and none of it good. She sounds like she's channeling Mitch McConnell or Ted Cruz when it comes to the president.

5. I was wondering if you'd heard of him, he's a documentary filmmaker

Ran across that information when I was looking for the announcement of this event to post here:

http://www.woolfforcongress.com/about/

Career:

For more than 20 years, Aaron has produced and directed award-winning documentaries that have highlighted the human consequences of government policy.

Aaron is the director and producer of the critically acclaimed film, King Corn, for which he was awarded a 2008 George Foster Peabody Award. King Corn looks at the ways that agriculture policies affect farmers and consumers on the ground -- an inside view of how crop subsidies affect how and what we eat, as well as the people who grow our food. The film was released theatrically in 60 cities across the country as well as on PBS and Discovery.

In 2003, he directed Dying to Leave: The Global Face of Human Trafficking and Smuggling, which examined immigration systems across the world, and the flow of people, legal and illegal, across national borders. The film won an Australian Emmy Logie Award for best documentary series, aired as a two-hour special on the PBS series Wide Angle, and has been screened at the Secretary’s Open Forum at the US State Department.

In 2010 Aaron completed another PBS special, Beyond the Motor City, which focuses on Detroit, and the struggle to modernize transit in the nation's automotive heartland. The film was broadcast as part of the Blueprint America series on American infrastructure.

In 2010, Aaron toured the country supported by a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation, speaking about the future of America’s transportation infrastructure. Aaron’s work on this film profoundly shaped his belief that investment in infrastructure allows local businesses to compete in a global marketplace.

HE SAID, SHE SAID

MATTHEW TURNER

The war of words between Republican Elise Stefanik and Matt Doheny shows no signs of stopping as the June 24 primary nears in the New York 21st Congressional District.

Stefanik told the Enterprise in a phone interview Friday she wanted to clear up the differences between the two campaigns.

"I'm focused on raising the issues that face North Country residents, such as jobs," Stefanik said. "I've been out on the campaign trail focusing on economic opportunity, protecting Constitutional liberties. Our campaign hasn't engaged in the policies of personal destruction."

We had a Republican in office in these parts for years and years, until Kirsten Gillibrand came along. She was my congresswoman and I worked for her Democratic successor who won the first time, lost badly to a teabagger the last time around. There's going to be a Republican primary here, hoping they cancel each other out, LOL.

BTW, Aaron Woolf is apparently a documentary filmmaker, has some good ideas. All the Republicans have to offer is criticism of the President.

http://www.woolfforcongress.com/about/

He certainly spoke well, and to an enthusiastic crowd. I was impressed at how many showed up, had to look for a parking place, since this has always been a Republican area. I got a couple of signs and spoke to the guy who was asking everyone to sign in, asked him if there was a local office yet, but there's not, HQ is located (same as with incumbent Bill Owens - who was there) in Plattsburgh. This redistricting has been damn confusing. The sign in list asked if people were willing to do phone banking or canvassing and I said yes to both, told the campaign guy I'd worked on Scott Murphy's campaign and he gave me one of his cards. Just hope the enthusiasm carries on to November... *fingers crossed*

Sorry I missed you. I came home and fell asleep.

He talked about equal pay for equal work, has a young daughter, a lot about farming and this is a big agricultural area (Washington County) and fixing our crumbling infrastructure which is a huge problem here and everywhere. I can certainly get behind him, especially considering what the Republicans have to offer, repealing everything accomplished by the president.

I guess I should be glad that Aaron Woolf showed up in these parts. Scott Murphy, who I worked for in 2009 and 2010, is actually local, pass his house almost everyday. And the Republican who ran against Bill Owens and lost is from Watertown, where I've never been, either.

And it never slowed him down, LOL. I got my other Brussels Griffon when he was nine. I called about an eight-year-old cocker spaniel, but ended up with an 8-lb. Brussels Griffon whose owner had died. I took him everywhere with me because he was used to it.

JOE LoTEMPLIO

PLATTSBURGH — Aaron Woolf, Democratic candidate for the 21st Congressional District seat, is getting support from the outgoing incumbent, but potential opponents are not impressed.

"I am surprised (Congressman) Bill Owens even knows who Aaron Woolf is," said Dave Catalfamo, spokesman for Republican candidate Matt Doheny.

Woolf's campaign team has been touting his association with the incumbent congressman from Plattsburgh for the past few weeks, issuing news releases highlighting their visits to businesses in the 12-county district.

And incumbent Bill Owens was with Aaron Woolf at the meet and greet I went to last Monday. I voted for Owens because he was certainly better than the Republican (Matt Doheny, who lost), but I'd never even seen him before. Until the last election, I was in District 20, had Kirsten Gillibrand (Hudson) for Congress, followed by Scott Murphy (Glens Falls - and whose house I pass almost every day) and then teabagger Chris Gibson (Kinderhook). We were redistricted, joined with District 21, way up north, while District 20 extended to the south. When I worked for Scott Murphy's campaign, I called people in Greene and Dutchess Counties.

We had a map on the wall of District 20 so we'd know where places were. It was shaped pretty strangely and encompassed 10 counties, I think. But I know a lot more about what's south of here, was born in Albany and grew up in Saratoga, than I do what's up north. Got an e-mail from the Aaron Woolf campaign inviting me to his 50th birthday party last Tuesday, but it took place in Plattsburgh.

As far as the competition is concerned, I think Aaron Woolf makes a much better impression, outgoing and friendly, speaks well and has good ideas. Of the two Republicans, Matt Doheny lost last time to Bill Owens and Elise what's-her-name has Paul Ryan's endorsement, has mainly just complained about the Democrats and the president, so far. But you never know around here since Republicans do have an advantage and, as you know, most people don't pay attention.

We're just a month away from the Republican primary in the North Country's fiercely-contested House race.

The Democratic and Green Party candidates are running unopposed in their primaries June 24. But Republicans Matt Doheny and Elise Stefanik have been locked in an expensive and sometimes bitter matchup that's involved accusations of carpetbagging and dishonesty.

The first debate between Doheny and Stefanik takes place May 27. This week, we begin profiling the two GOP candidates. Here's Brian Mann and Martha Foley's conversation about Elise Stefanik's life story, her background, and her political ideas.

I signed up to work for Aaron Woolf the same as I did for Scott Murphy, but his campaign headquarters is currently in Plattsburgh, not exactly convenient, LOL, and I was told that they have yet to set up a local office.

95. Primary Day Looms for NY 21st District Candidates
Sat May 24, 2014, 12:55 AM
May 2014

SARANAC LAKE, NY -

We're just over a month away from New York's 21st Congressional District primary.

The Republicans are the only ones needing a primary. They have 2 candidates. There's a first-timer and a repeat candidate hoping to make the ballot.

With just weeks until the primary in the largest district this side of the Mississippi River, people want their voices heard.

“I think government has gotten too big,” said Sally Spadaro, a Saranac Lake voter. “I'm very concerned about the changes with health care."

District 21 is home to a Republican battle between Matt Doheny and Elise Stefanik.

Many of the local races are decided then, since the Dems don't necessarily field a candidate.

The more rural areas, like my neck-of-the-woods, are traditionally Republican. Until Kirsten Gillibrand won in 2006, we always had Republican representation - Jerry Solomon followed by John Sweeney - and they usually ran unopposed.

We get a lot of odd endorsements around here. When I worked for Scott Murphy in the special 2009 election, Pat Boone was making robocalls for his opponent. Many of the other volunteers were recent college graduates, so we had to explain to them who Pat Boone was...

Think I told you about the bus load of red shirted senior citizens Chris Gibson brought to his debate with Scott Murphy. They were very disruptive - and confused. I called them "senior citizens against health care." Incumbent Scott Murphy voted in favor of ACA. And also John Boehner came to the district to support Gibson, but there was very little news on it because it was behind closed doors. Remind you of anyone?

Obviously, we need a whole lot more Democrats in the House, am definitely going to participate in GOTV again, as long as there's an office closer than Plattsburgh, LOL. But I can't see how those who are already there can stand it. They must have high blood pressure with all the crap they have to deal with. Wonder if that's a reason that Bill Owens decided to retire now.
