A Bright Spot for New Jerseyans and New Yorkers

I heard on WNYC (NPR) this morning that at this point, it is the coldest day of the winter. After that it gets progressively warmer until July.

I'll bet there's a name for this phenomenon. Maybe elleng knows.

The weather in San Diego, despite an occasional flooding event in winter, was boring.

A burst of cold is an opportunity to refresh. I think I'll take a little bike ride today.

With climate change, I find the summers to be a little bit scary.
