Doing Nothing - Causes Democrats to Lose (NJ Forum)
Time and again people take the approach of 'we suck' and 'all is lost' so I'm not going to do anything to help our candidate win.
Time and again - they do nothing.
They don't call.
They don't knock on doors.
They don't even engage in texting campaigns.
We had SEVEN out of state Democrats help us with our Hunterdon County NJ text campaigns. Seven.
I've participated 17 text campaigns in other states since June 2020. There was nothing in it 'for me'.
I do this because I'm a Democratic Party Member and I care.
So - forgive me . . .
I'm taking Phil's Win! It's a fucking win.
It's not 'delusional'. It's a win. And if there is anything wrong with rank and file democrats (SOME of US) is the 'we suck' and our 'we suck reality' is the winning mentality.
If you want to lose the house in 2022 - keep it up. Keep the Do Nothing attitude up.
Be arrogant.
Be up on your high horse.
Take one word about DIRECTION from the Murphy Campaign to RUN LIKE WE WERE 10 POINTS BEHIND - and say it was a lie.
Direction from the Campaign. Phil even said it on Sunday and Monday this week - 10 points behind.
10 points behind is how we got one last Vote By Mail Push on Monday. We left nothing to chance.
And that's why we won in NJ. We weren't Do Nothing Democrats.
