NORAD catches 3 planes flying too close to Trump's golf course while he's in N.J.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command has had to intercept three airplanes in two days for violating a Temporary Flight Restriction in New Jersey as President Donald Trump visits his Bedminster golf resort.
Two incidents occurred at 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday where the pilots of single-engine civilian aircraft were not communicating with air traffic controllers.
Then again on Saturday around 10:15 and a civilian single-engine aircraft that was not in communication with air traffic controllers entered the Temporary Flight Restriction area surrounding Bedminster, without proper clearance.
NORAD aircraft responded to these incidents immediately and in all three incidents, the civilian pilots departed the restricted airspace without incident, according to officials.
