turkey hunting season starts tomorrow (Oct. 13)

as during any hunting season, you might want to wear bright orange and/or avoid walks in the woods
maybe keep pets close to the house, if not indoors

semi-related anecdote:
one of the local farmers used to paint "COW" on the sides of his cows during deer season

have the grand kids for weekend-will go out mon.
lots of birds in mid-coast area! looking for rabbit cover -son is into beagles-
need an area away from traffic!
getting so we have to travel 75 miles or so
