if the Roberts’ court decides to overturn the governor, then churches will no longer have to comply with any law, especially building codes, fire regulations, sanitation, etc.

Is that the personal van was placed on all of a Kentucky society not exclusively the churches, all for the purpose personal safety, and “the general welfare”
He didn’t ban One religion over another, thus not sanctioning any religion at all.
But with a Roberts court. ...corporations are living breathing citizens with full rights except taxation.

It's recasting the situation where little Johnny CAN pray any time he wants during the school day -- to himself and privately. Little Johnny can't stop the class and make the class pray with him. Little Johnny's teacher can't lead prayer in class. And to some, the latter is the reason behind their protests. If they can't have their fundamental right to pray THEIR WAY, they're being persecuted.

In this situation, believers can stay home and pray. They can read the Bible together in the living room. They can Zoom services. But they're insisting on practicing their brand of religion without restrictions, which can result in not only their mortality, but their families' mortality, and the rest of their community and beyond.

I hope the parishioners who attended the services, pack the courtroom for the hearing.

Imagine if our species finally grew up and dumped these childish and elitist belief systems.
