2. Gillum is popular, but Nelson isn't.

Gillum is a fresh face, Nelson isn't. Gillum gets the minority vote out, Nelson doesn't as much.

4. I don't doubt Gillum is doing well but I think this batch is wonky

Either FL-Gov is closer or Nelson should be doing better. If If Gillum wins, so will Nelson.

9. I think it is safe to assume that nelson will get around 4-5% less than gillum

So if he trounces desantis by 10 points nelson will win by 3-5. It is safe to say nelsons support in polls will likely increase with gillums especially as they continue to campaign together.

If they weren't on the same ballot I get it.

But they are.

And I would think anyone voting for Gillum isn't voting for Scott.

I mean that's why they call it coattails.

16. I dont get scotts appeal but he has a right wing populism.

Gillum has a democratic populism/ nationalism thing going for him and thats kinda what gets the crossover. Gillum will have coattails but there will be a lot of republicans who vote for him and scott.

Beto is close, but the Rep Gov is leading by a ton.

I can't imagine a single Gilliam voter also voting for Scott.

I also hope they're having inspiring conversations behind the scenes.
