A question about Florida absentee-ballots and the timing of the count.

The latest word is that Trump is going to try to use the courts to declare a winner on election day. That means that states that count absentee ballots on or after election day are going to see a major voter suppression. So, where does Florida stand in that formula? Do we count absentee ballots as they come in? Or do we wait for after election day?

4. Florida counts early votes and vote by mail ballots as received

We will know most of the vote by election night. In Texas, we announce the early vote and vote by mail just after polls close and this usually accounts for 60% to 70% of the total vote

7. While your question is about Florida, and has been answered,

there are some states that foolishly don't start counting absentee ballots until the close of polls on Election Day. It's possible that as those states get millions of applications for absentee ballots, they'll realize they need to start counting them as they come in. One can only hope.

IN my county and submit it. My only fear is that some SOME body is going to sneak in and steal ballots... I would not put it past 'em... YMMV..

11. Florida law also allows counting of overseas ballots until November 13...
