Masters of the Air

This is currently showing on Apple TV.

If you are able to; watch it.

In the same vein as Band of Bothers and The Pacific, it follows the “bloody 100th” squadron during WWII. Like the ground war, the air war was equally horrific.

Just watch it, especially now.

We are so fortunate to live in the United States.

But if we wish to be so fortunate, let’s all do our best to prevent the orange asshole from ever setting foot in Washington ever again.

If he does, all the sacrifices by the very brave men and women who fought back the nazis (always lower case, because nazis are pieces of shit who aren’t worthy of being a “proper noun), will have been in vein.

My heart breaks when I see what’s happening to our country

and to me it's like a coke addict trying to chase that first hit...
All these WW2 programs are trying to be a great hit like Band of Brothers..
I don't see it happening.. The story is a rehash of lots of WW2 stories. Yes the Bloody 100'th got wacked
You could just see where it was going.. Band of Brothers was a story viewed from a bit different prospective then the other films of the events...A bit of a shocker at times Then again that's just me..

My wife's uncle was a waist gunner in a B-17. Shot down and survived the camps and the forced marches. The whole series unfolded what he went though.

Two years ago we visited the American cemetery above Omaha Beach. 9000+ crosses and stars of David of men who died fighting against a racists ideology that stated that some people were "vermin."

Did they died in vain?????
