Seriously, does anyone like how Stephen Colbert interviews his guests???

I’m just not a fan of his......he doesn’t let the guest talk, and if they are explaining something, he always cuts them off to add his two bits.....and I find that it’s always about Stephen in the end of whatever the guest is saying. JMHO. Or is it just me???

I have seen him get guests to recite Shakespeare, talk about history, or reveal things they’ve never shared before.

He interrupted Paul McCartney’s retelling of a story he had told millions of times before to use his (Colbert’s) own experience of losing a parent at a young age to inquire about Paul losing his mother as a teen. It’s a subject I had never heard asked about before, and Paul was clearly taken aback, but tried to answer nevertheless.

If he ever leaves the late show, he would be great as a Barbara Walters style interviewer.

I record and start my day with his show. Love most of his guests, his roasting of tfg, and the wacky Meanwhile segment.

the monologue. He does the same thing every night the monologue then Meanwhile. Kimmel isn't much better.
I can't stand Jimmy Fallon. I think Seth Myers is the best of all but I don't stay up that late.
I never missed Carson at least he wasn't just the same old same old every night. I couldn't stand Leno.
