He sorta disappeared after her death. It must have been hard for him.

4. Wilder died 8/29/2016. He remarried and was married 25 yrs until death to Karen Boyer.

5. I remember she was supposed to host SNL when they had one of the good casts

Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Jom Lovitz, Phil Hartman, Jan Hooks, Nora Dunn, and in the pre-loony-RWNJ part of their lives Dennis Miller and Victoria Jackson. Gilda was penciled in to host the last show of the season, I think, but the writer's guild went on strike...and the rest of the season was canceled...and then she was sitting in a clinically sterile room, hearing the news from her doctor that you never want to hear

That, would have been a show. But sadly it never happened in this reality
