6. We haven't had a winter like that

For longer than I can remember, although I sure don’t want it to return!

7. STOP IT!! Thankfully at this point in our lives we only have to travel 2 miles on well travelled....

....town roads, and only 2 days a week.

After 16 years of driving 60 (me) and 20 miles (my wife) round trip five days a week, snow isn't an issue anymore - just clearing it eventually.

2. Love your images, but I think your tree is having

trouble making up its mind as to what season it is.

5. We had a very early frost recently

I had the same thought as you about the tree being mixed up.

3. Oh now that's dramatic!

There's just something about a stark black background that makes a subject POP. Love the saturated colors too. Soooo nice.

4. I got them in the late afternoon sun

On my dining room table. It made for quite a contrast!

My table is actually dark reddish brown mahogany, but I was able to fiddle with the contrast a bit.
