It won't be full till tomorrow, but I had a chance to see it tonight and the sky was super clear. So I went for it!

(149,561 posts)Not exactly! Last night I took a moon photo that wasn't nearly as clear as this one, so I decided that tonight I would try again.
And this was the result, and I am much happier tonight.

(5,255 posts)Thanks as always. Interestingly one of our calendars has July 5 as the full moon date, while one has July 4. Might be an international timing thing.

(149,561 posts)Yes, sometimes the calendars don't match on when the moon's full. I'm not sure why.
