Sometimes called the Buck Moon, the Hay Moon or the Thunder Moon.

I appreciate your telling me and all of us the various names. I think it's fascinating how many there are, and why the moon has them.

It won't be full till tomorrow, but I had a chance to see it tonight and the sky was super clear. So I went for it!

Glad you like it!

Not exactly! Last night I took a moon photo that wasn't nearly as clear as this one, so I decided that tonight I would try again.

And this was the result, and I am much happier tonight.

So glad you like it!

Thanks as always. Interestingly one of our calendars has July 5 as the full moon date, while one has July 4. Might be an international timing thing.

Yes, sometimes the calendars don't match on when the moon's full. I'm not sure why.

That is just hilarious as well as wonderful!

The moon even looks like green cheese! And the cow is perfectly placed for a super jump over it.

Thank you!
