Beautiful photo, but the caption prompts a somewhat irrelevant question: Is it possible to tell from any given photo whether the sun is rising or setting?

9. It depends on whether or not I can have landmarks in the photo...

I can tell you instantly it is sunset if the shot is of Lake Michigan looking west from Indiana to Chicago...
